A good deal for you, your community and the environment.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price.

ReStores are independently owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations. Proceeds are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter in local communities and around the world.  Please see our Photos page to see some of the houses we have built locally!

Our mission...

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Our vision...

A world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Our principles...

  1. Demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ.

  2. Focus on shelter.

  3. Advocate for affordable housing.

  4. Promote dignity and hope.

  5. Support sustainable and transformative development.

Who we are...

Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.

A message from your director

Thanks for checking in! We have been woefully behind the times on social media, but that is changin’! Just look around a bit – hey, the website works! Who knew? And, Facebook is a great spot to see the deals and new arrivals in the ReStore.
And, speaking of the ReStore, we have just  about turned it upside-down. You must get in soon to see all we’ve done, if you haven’t already. I even hear our prices are even lower. And I can’t wait to see how the lower end of Main Street will look very soon.
To the mission: 2019 will be a big one. We have four new partner families approved, and thanks to our new financial partner, PNC Bank, we’re gonna build for them. Because of their good work, your local Habitat was able to match already-generous cash contributions and double the donor’s impact! We will get back “home” and build in LaGrange and Troup County.
You may not know, but we’ve expanded our service area the past few years to Randolph County, Alabama and in Georgia; Harris and Heard Counties. It makes sense to our local board of directors to spread out and reduce the cost of delivery of our vital and primary mission: HOME OWNERSHIP.
Just between you and me, I’ve heard you can donate on-line. Just sayin’…

Peace,
